Let's Have a Look to Our Beautiful Creatures
Dwarf gobies from the Pandaka genus are related to bumblebee gobies but are even smaller. Pandaka Pygmaea was once the smallest vertebrate in the world but has since lost that title. Another species, Pandaka rouxi, usually grows to just 10–12 mm, with the largest recorded at 18 mm (including the tail). These tiny fish live in brackish water and can survive in freshwater and seawater, but not for long. They are found in Indonesia.
Betta Channoides, also known as the Snakehead Betta, is a wild betta species native to East Borneo, Indonesia. It’s known for its striking coloration, peaceful nature, and unique. Betta Channoides is suitable for intermediate to experienced aquarists, especially those interested in wild bettas and natural breeding behaviors. It’s a calm, unique, and visually appealing fish for a nature-style aquarium
The Sailfin Marble Molly is a colorful freshwater fish with a large, sail-like fin. It has a calm nature and is a great addition to any aquarium. These fish eat flakes, pellets, and sometimes treats like bloodworms and brine shrimp to stay healthy and vibrant. They get along well with peaceful fish like tetras, guppies, and Corydoras catfish but should not be kept with aggressive fish.
The Discus has colors and patterns similar to big cats. Its body ranges from beige to golden with bold black or dark brown markings, which can look like stripes, spots, or rosettes. It is a relatively large discus fish and has a peaceful, social nature. It can live in community tanks with other calm fish that need the same water conditions.
The Sumatra Tigerfish looks brawny and tall body with a sharp forehead and a leaf-like shape. Its golden color and black tiger-like stripes make it stand out. It usually grows to 12-15 inches but can reach 18 inches with good care. This slow-growing fish can live 10-15 years and does well in large tanks with other calm, similar-sized predatory fish.
The Fenestratus Cichlid comes in different colors and patterns. The Marble, Black and White, or Calico type is popular for its mix of black, blue, and reddish-orange patches on a white body. Its pattern changes as it grows, making it a unique and stunning fish. In tanks, it is aggressive and active, needing open space and hiding spots. It is sensitive to water quality, so regular large water changes are important for its health.
They live in cool, fast-moving water with large stones, often near waterfalls. They are found in Borneo, in Central Kalimantan. This peaceful species does not harm other fish and becomes bold once settled. They grow to about 3-5 cm long.
The Leaf Goblinfish, or Indian Butterfly Goby, is a small waspfish from the Indo-Pacific that grows up to 3 inches. It lives in shallow brackish and marine waters, hiding among plants and rocks. It is an ambush predator that waits for small prey like insect larvae and tiny fish. In aquariums, it may prefer live food at first but can eventually eat frozen foods like brine shrimp and bloodworms. This hardy fish can adapt to different salinity levels, from low brackish to full marine water.
